Government Grants.

To help families save for their children’s post-secondary education, the Government of Canada introduced the Canada Education Savings Grant (CESG) in 1998, and has since added the Canada Learning Bond and the Additional CESG.

In addition, the Provinces of Alberta and Quebec provide grants through the Alberta Centennial Education Savings Plan, and the Quebec Education Savings Incentive, and the newly announced Saskatchewan Advantage Grant for Education, which will come into effect in 2013.
