Important message to students who are eligible to receive an EAP this year
October 22, 2018 (Mississauga, ON) -- Due to the rotating postal strike, delivery of EAP cheques may be delayed. We are encouraging students to go online to avoid delays.
For students who have already submitted their EAP Withdrawal Form:
Please register for online access to check the status of your EAP request. “EAP approved” means the payment has been issued according to your instructions (direct deposit or cheque). If the status of your request is “pending,” you can still request payment via direct deposit.
If you haven’t submitted your EAP Withdrawal Form:
Please register for online access to delay or request your EAP via direct deposit. November 1 is the deadline for students to request an Education Assistance Payment  from the Family Group or Classic Plan. If you are not going to school this year, you will have to delay your EAP in order to remain eligible next year. November 1st is also the deadline to delay your EAP.
Requesting Direct Deposit:
You can attach a void cheque when requesting your EAP or you can complete the New Direct Deposit/Pre-authorized transaction form available at your financial institution.  In order to receive a direct deposit, you must be a Canadian Resident, be the sole account holder and have your name pre-printed on the cheque.
